What if goods arrive damaged during shipping?

We provide shipping insurance. Please inspect upon receipt and report damage within 48 hours with photos/videos. We will offer replacement, refund, or discount based on damage severity.

Laser engraving vs. screen printing for logo customization — what's the difference?

Laser engraving: best for simple patterns/text, durable, no chemical residue. Screen printing: ideal for multi-color logos, lower MOQ. Solutions tailored to design complexity.

What is the source of your wood materials? Is it sustainable?

Wood comes from FSC-certified sustainable plantations, primarily birch and bamboo. Production complies with sustainable development principles and supports circular forestry.

How do I purchase samples? What is the lead time?

Paid sample service: 5-7 working days. Bulk orders: 2-4 weeks lead time, depending on quantity and production schedule.

What international certifications do you hold besides FDA and EU SUPD?

Certifications include FDA (USA), LFGB (Germany), JFSL (Japan), and ISO 22000 food safety management system. Market-specific certifications can be arranged.

What are the storage conditions and shelf life?

Store in a dry, ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf life is 2-3 years under proper storage. FIFO inventory management is recommended.

Are your wooden utensils heat resistant? Oven or microwave safe?

Not recommended for microwaves. Can withstand short-term high temperatures (e.g., hot soups, oven edges). Avoid prolonged exposure above 80°C. Contact us for specific recommendations.

Do you offer custom colors or dyed cutlery?

Yes. We provide dyed wooden cutlery using food-grade dyes, customizable to your brand colors (MOQ required).

How do your wooden utensils perform in wet or oily food environments?

Our wooden cutlery is food-grade treated with good moisture and oil resistance. It doesn't soften or deform easily in hot soups, fried foods, or sauces — suitable for all takeout and dine-in scenarios.

What applications are your wooden utensils suitable for?

Greenwood wooden cutlery is suitable for restaurant takeout, camping, weddings, corporate events, cafes, school cafeterias, cold chain delivery, and more. We offer different thicknesses and sizes to match different needs.

What is the difference between your Birchwood cutlery and Bamboo cutlery?

This is a critical distinction for quality buyers: Birchwood (Our Product): Smoother texture, naturally splinter-resistant, lighter color (looks cleaner/whiter), and tasteless. Bamboo: more stronge and more expensive Birchwood is universally considered the economic choice for food service.

How do I handle customs clearance? Do you ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)?

Our standard terms are FOB (Free On Board) main China port. Most of our wholesale clients prefer to use their own freight forwarder. However, for clients new to importing, we can recommend trusted shipping partners who offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service to your door in the US, UK, or EU, covering all freight, duties, and taxes in one invoice.

Do you use any adhesives, glues, or binders in the production process?

No glue, no binders, no melamine. Our production relies solely on mechanical pressure and high heat to fuse the wood fibers together. The cutlery is a single piece of molded wood fiber. This ensures the final product is BPA-free and chemical-free.

Are your products compliant with the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive (SUPD)?

Yes, 100% compliant. Our products are made of unmodified natural wood, which is explicitly exempt from the restrictions and bans outlined in the EU SUPD. We can provide a Declaration of Compliance (DoC) and confirmation of tariff code HS 4419.90 for customs clearance.
